Marshall Ira Cummings, Sr.. age 57, died Sunday, February 15, 2009.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Chauncey with pastor Daryl Mitchell officiating. Internment followed in the Ebenezer. Church Cemetery.
Mr. Cummings was originally from Laurens County but graduated from Dodge County High School. He attended Ebenezer Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was employed at Lafarge Cement for many years. He is preceded in death by his father, James Ira Cummings.
Survivors include three children, one brother, one sister; six grandchildren; two uncles; four aunts.
