Obituary
Pearl Powell (Aunt Nig) Holccmb, age 90, of Eastman died Friday, January 16, 2009 in Dodge County Hospital.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 18, 2009 in Fair Haven Baptist Church, with Rev. Charles Robinson and Rev. Buford Tanner officiating. Interment followed in the Fair Haven Cemetery.
Mrs. Holcomb, a native of Dodge County, was a homemaker, antique dealer and a member of Fair Haven Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pearl Harrell Powell and Willie G. Powell two sisters, Verna Lee Giddens and Annie Clyde Powell and one brother Derrel Powell.
Survivors include one sister; six nieces; and one nephew.
The Fair Haven Church Choir accompanied by ? were musicians for the funeral service.
