KATIE LAURA SALYER, age 52, of Eastman, GA, died Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at her residence. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Katie was born in Douglas, GA, of the Christian Faith, a 1988 graduate of Dodge County High School, and later graduated from Heart of Georgia Technical College with certifications in Aircraft Structural Technology, as an EMT, and CNA, and from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College with a degree in Wildlife and Forestry Management. She was a former manager of the Pizza Inn from 1985 to 1996 and later retired as an aflatoxin lab supervisor for Golden Peanut Company. She enjoyed gardening, writing, coloring, bowling, going on trips, and volunteering at the Dodge County Food Bank. Katie was preceded in death by her Father, Charles Kenton Salyer. She is survived by her 2 Sons, both of Eastman; Mother; Sister; Brother; Niece and Nephews; Several Aunts, Uncles, and Numerous Cousins, and Friends.
