A Celebration of Life for Seaborn J Harden III
Saturday, July 12, 2025 | 10:00 AM
First Baptist Church
5107 Oak Street, Eastman, GA 31023
Please join us as we gather to honor and celebrate the life of Seaborn Harden—a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Seaborn’s hands, heart and wit touched the lives of many, and his memory lives on in all who knew and loved him.
The service will be held at First Baptist Church in Eastman, Georgia. A lunch will follow immediately after the service for those who are able to stay. We welcome you to share stories, memories, and moments that capture the spirit of the man we miss so dearly.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a college fund established for Seaborn’s daughter, Lucille “Lucy†Iris Harden (age 5). Contributions will help support the bright future Seaborn always envisioned for her. Instructions at the end of this announcement.
Additionally, the family invites those who feel moved to bring sealed letters to Lucy – written, typed, or recorded in any format. Share how you knew Seaborn, and please include stories, memories, the impact he had on your life, or moments that capture his spirit. These letters will become a keepsake for Lucy—offering her a connection to her father who loved her so deeply and to see the lasting imprint he left on those around him. We believe this will be one of the greatest gifts we can give her. If you would like to share a letter, but are unable to attend in person, please email Seaborn’s sister, Martha Wells, at marthawells@live.com.
We sincerely thank the community for your love, prayers, and support during this time.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
Seaborn was born in Macon, GA on March 18, 1986. He was a member of Eastman First Baptist Church, a 2004 graduate of Dodge County High School, attended Middle Georgia College, and earned a degree in Industrial Management from Georgia Southern University. After graduating from college, he went to work at POWERCON, where he performed electrical automation work. He later moved to Bluffton, SC, married in 2017, and went to work at Tri State Pumps until moving back to the family farm located in the Midway Community of Dodge County. In 2018, he joined Robins AFB. After multiple accomplishments and awards, he was promoted to Lead Engineering Technician for Corrective Maintenance—a position he deeply enjoyed and in which he was honored with the 'Wingman Service Award' for his dedicated community service during Hurricane Helene. Seaborn was a loving husband, father, son, and brother, who was especially proud of his daughter, Lucy.
