Walter Daniel (W. D.) Woodard, age 58, of Canal Point, Florida died Friday. June 12. 2009. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a. m. on Thursday, June 18, 2009 from the graveside in New Union Cemetery in Dodge County with Rev. Jay Scruggs officiating. Mr. Woodard, born in Dodge County, was a retired employee of U.S. Sugar Corporation. He was preceded in death by his father, Vernie Woodard. Survivors include his mother; adopted children; two sisters; and two brothers. The family will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel in Eastman from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Thursday. June 18, 2009. Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home of Eastman is serving the Woodard Family.
