ERICA STAPLETON JONES, age 40, of Milan, GA, died Saturday, November 16, 2019 in North Carolina, as the result of an automobile accident. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, November 21, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Quint Shepherd, Sister Margaret Arthur, Sister Thelma Norris, and Rev. Phil Wallace officiating, with interment in the Jones Family Cemetery in Milan. Erica was born in Macon, of the Baptist faith, former employee at Quality Saw Works in Milan, co-owner and operator of The ReSharp Man Bandsaws, and a jack of all trades. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling, shopping at Goodwill and thrift stores, and making and selling crafts. She was preceded in death by her Husband of 22 years, Rodney L. Jones and Father, Billy Jack Stapleton. Survivors: Daughter; Son; Step-Daughters; Step-Son; 6 Grandchildren; Mother; 3 Sisters; Mother-in-Law; Sisters-in-Law and Brothers-in-Law; Aunts and Uncles; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. The family may be contacted at the Jones residence and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 5:00PM-7:00PM Wednesday, November 20.
