Obituary
Mr. Charles Leon Swain, Sr., 83, of Hawkinsville, Ga., passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at his residence.A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Smith officiating.
Mr. Swain was a native of Dodge County, Ga. and a member of the Antioch Baptist Church. He retired from the Heart of Georgia after 40+ years and also worked for Simpson Farms. Charles was one of the first members of the Pulaski County Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association.He was also the founder of the Hawkinsville River Rats.
Survivors include his wife; son; daughter; step-children; brother, brother and sisters in law, sisters; grandchildren; Great grandchildren.
