MRS. DIANNE YANCEY NASH, age 73, of Rhine, GA, died Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Fairview Park Hospital. A private family service will be held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, with Mr. Scott Hall and Rev. Jody Yancey officiating. Diane was born and raised in Rhine, GA, a member of Sharon Baptist Church, and a 1969 graduate of Dodge County High School. She later worked for many years as an executive with AT&T. She was the daughter of the late Hazel Cook Yancey and Jessie Willard Yancey and was preceded in death by her Brother, Joey Fred Yancey, and Niece, Dana Yancey. She is survived by her Son – Scott Hall (Betsy) of Rhine, GA; Grandchildren – Noah Hall, Chase Hall, and Ashley Hall, all of Rhine, GA; Brothers – Jerry Yancey (Monette) and Danny Yancey, both of Rhine, GA; Nieces and Nephews – Renae Rogers (James), Jody Yancey (Tanya), and Laura Watkins (Jay); Several Great-Nieces and Nephews, and Great-Great-Nieces and Nephews. The family will receive friends at the Yancey Family Cookhouse, 1675 Telfair Line Rd., Rhine, GA, from 1:00PM-3:00PM Monday, March 18. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org/, in honor of Dianne.
