MR. STEVEN JAMES “STEVE” NOLES, age 62, of Eastman, GA, died Monday, May 29, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Southerland Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tim Brown officiating, with internment in Gresston Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery. Steve was born in Eastman, GA, in 1961 and was a member of Gresston Baptist Church. He attended Dodge County High School and later Warner Robins High School. He was a log truck driver for over 15 years and owner and operator of Red Beard Trucking, LLC. He was also owner of South Georgia Pine Straw and WKP Auto Sales for many years, where he bought and sold many cars over the years. Steve was a likable fellow and a friend to many. He was a dedicated son and a loving brother and uncle, who enjoyed fishing trips to the Altamaha and Ocmulgee Rivers. He also loved attending auctions weekly. He was the son of the late Shirley Young Noles and James W. Noles, and was preceded in death by his Brother, William Keith Noles. He is survived by his Sister – Shelia Noles of Warner Robins; 2 Nieces – Victoria Smith of Warner Robins and Artesia French (Chris) of Sparta; 2 Nephews – James Thomas Noles (Christina) of Kathleen and David Keith Noles of Warner Robins; Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews – Beth Ann Scott (Jalen), Marc French, Jason French, Trae Smith, Wyatt Noles, Keigan Noles, Parker Noles, and Ava Collins; Numerous Cousins and Friends. The family may be contacted at the Noles residence, 1757 Chester Hwy., Eastman, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 5:00PM-7:00PM Wednesday, May 31.
