GULLY, Richard Kittrell Richard Kittrell Gully, 76, of Woodstock, GA passed away to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 27, 2017. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 30, 2017 at 6:00pm at Wildwood Baptist Church in Acworth, GA, with visitation preceding the service at 4:30PM. Pastor Ric Cadle will officiate. A short burial service will be held Saturday July 1, 2017 in the Bay Springs Free Will Baptist sanctuary in Eastman, GA. A native of Meridian, MS, Richard was a proud graduate of Mercer University in Macon, GA. After a long and successful career, he enjoyed retirement to the fullest. He loved spending time with his wife of 41 years and his 9 grandchildren. He truly had a servant's heart, devoting much of his time to The Gideons International, ministering within the Cobb County prison system, and teaching at Wildwood Baptist. Richard is survived by his loving wife, sons; daughter; grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made in his honor to The Gideons International at P.O. Box 841, Marietta, GA 30061.
