MRS. MAGGIE ANN WALKER PITTMAN, age 79, of Eastman, GA, died Tuesday June 29, 2021, at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Thursday July 1, at Bowers Cemetery in Empire with Rev. Daniel Cook officiating. Mrs. Pittman was born and raised in Eastman, GA. She was a member of Rhine Baptist Church and a graduate of Dodge County High School. Maggie and her husband were co-owners and operators of Green Thumb Nursery and Pittman Welding for many years. Maggie was an avid gardener and possessed a talent for horticulture and growing plants. She enjoyed sewing, fishing, and powder puff racing. Mrs. Pittman was a dedicated wife and a loving mother and grandmother. She was the daughter of the late Zeb Walker and Mittie Willcox Walker Roberson and was preceded in death by her husband R.L. Pittman, 2 stepchildren, James Pittman, and Myra Pittman Davis, 3 siblings, Nell Anderson, Mary Anderson, and Billy Walker. She is survived by her Daughter; Step Daughter; Step Son-in-law; 6 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren; 2 Sisters; Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; Her Caregivers.
