Paulette Brown, 57, died Sunday, January 8, 2017. Services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, January 13, 2017, at Hardison Baptist Church, 13845 Hwy 42 South near Byron, with Pastor Lance Buckless officiating. Family will greet friends from 10:00AM until service time at Hardison Baptist Church. Burial will follow at 2:00PM at Sand Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 2600 Hwy 280 near Milan. Born in Fort Valley to the late Earnest and Bessie Floyd Brown, Paulette graduated from Wesleyan College. She spent many years as a social worker with Crawford County DFACS and was a bus monitor with Crawford County Schools. She was an active member of Hardison Baptist Church and was a caregiver to many. Survivors include her nieces great nephews. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Archie Ray Brown and Lankford Brown, and a great nephew, Shelby Miller. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hardison Baptist Church, 13845 Hwy 42 South, Byron, GA 31008. Rooks Funeral Home in Byron is in charge of arrangements.
