Eastman – Funeral services for Joyce Warren Martin, age 76, who died Saturday, January 28, 2017, in Serenity Place in Dublin, after an extended illness, will be held Monday, January 30, 2017, at 2:00 P.M. at Plainfield Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Tanner and Rev. Daniel Cook officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Martin, born January 15, 1941, in Laurens County, was the daughter of the late Venice E. and Sally Darsey Warren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, George Warren and Jack Warren, her sisters, Frankie Jean Combs and Theresia Giles. Joyce was a member of Plainfield Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed working in her yards, quilting and cooking for everyone. She leaves behind her loving husband of 27 years; her daughters; her grandchildren; great grandchildren; her brothers; her sisters; her sister-in-law; several nephews and nieces. The family is at and will greet friends from 1:00 PM until time for the service Monday at Plainfield Baptist Church.
