Obituary
Alma Piper Newman , age 86, a native of Barnesville, Ga. passed away Friday, August 28, 2020 at Pinewood Manor in Hawkinsville, Ga.
She was a member of Broad Street Baptist Church, she was a homemaker and loved fishing. A graveside service will be held for Mrs. Newman at Harrell Cemetery on Monday, August 31st, 2020 at 11:00 am with Dr. Jeff Waters officiating.
Alma was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Leroy Newman and her parents, Elton Piper and Jewel Coogler Piper.
Survivors include her sons; her daughters, her brothers, and a sister, 10 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grand Children.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
