Obituary
Ilene Scarborough Mullis Edwards, age 74, of Eastman, died Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p. m. on Saturday, November 28; 2009 from the graveside in Bee Hive Cemetery in Plainfield with Rev. Dahl McDermitt, Jr. officiating.
Mrs. Edwards, a native of Dodge County, was a homemaker and a member of Marie Baptist Church of Dublin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Illa Mae Scarborough and Ruben Scarborough; and her husband, George T. Edwards.
Survivors include two daughters; one son; two sisters; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home of Eastman was in charge of arrangements.
