MRS. GLENDA JOYCE WILLIS KEMP, age 73, of Eastman, GA, died Monday, November 2, 2020 at Dodge County Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, November 5, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Ricky Anderson and Mr. Chad Kennison officiating. Glenda was born in Macon, a dedicated member of Eastman Bible Baptist Church, and a homemaker. She was a former employee of Stuckey’s Candy Company, a former babysitter who enjoyed raising children in her home for over 40 years, and enjoyed keeping a tidy home. She was a dedicated wife and a loving mother and grandmother. Glenda was the daughter of the late Mary Conley Manderson and Charlie Willis, widow of Claxton Kemp, and was preceded in death by a Brother, Clarence Willis. She is survived by her Daughter; Son; 7 Grandchildren; 11 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Sisters; Sister-in-law; 2 Brothers-in-law; Numerous Nieces and Nephews. The family may be contacted at the residence. Mrs. Glenda will lie-in-state from 10:00AM-4:00PM Wednesday, November 4.
