Mrs. Cloe Indus Taylor Lewis, age 64, of Eastman, GA, died Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at her residence. Funeral service will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, February 12, at Zebulon Baptist Church, with Rev. Brian Jones and Rev. Robbie Jones officiating, with interment in Zebulon Cemetery. Mrs. Lewis was a lifelong resident of Dodge County, a member of Zebulon Baptist Church and a 20 year retired manager for First Franklin Financial. She was president of the Ladies #2 Sunday School Class, a children’s church leader, a Christian Life Center volunteer, a longtime caretaker for the elderly and was active in the Pink Ladies. She was daughter of the late Alta Mae Wright Taylor & Terrell Weeks Taylor, widow of Reggie Lewis and was preceded in death by a Brother – Earl Taylor. Survivors: Daughter; Son; 3 Grandchildren; 2 Sisters; 2 Brothers; Sister-in-Law; Aunts; Several Nieces and Nephews. The family may be contacted at the Lewis residence and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 6:00PM-8:00PM Wednesday, February 11. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to Zebulon Baptist Church, DCH Pink Ladies or the Juvenile Dubieties Research Foundation.
