AUGUSTA, GA- Miss Linda L. McKinnon, 78, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Eastman, GA she was the daughter to the late Willie Ladson McKinnon and Mary Grace Grant McKinnon. Linda attended the Historic First Baptist Church of Beech Island with her family, when her health permitted. Her love of God, family and friends was unconditional. Linda is survived by her nieces; nephew and numerous great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother and sister-in-law, Donald L. (Mary Rozar) McKinnon and a great nephew, Tyler Roon. The family would like to extend their utmost gratitude to her caregiver of many years and her family who showed her God’s love and compassion. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Historic First Baptist Church of Beech Island, McKinnon Music Fund, 170 Church Road, Beech Island, SC 29842. A graveside service will be held Friday, July 12, 2019 at 11:00 AM in Sunset Memory Gardens with Pastor Gregory Williams officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
