DAVID WILLIAM “D.J.” SHEFFIELD, JR., age 29, of Columbus, GA, formerly of Eastman, GA, died Friday, August 14, 2020. A memorial service will be held at 1:00PM Saturday, August 22, at Liberty Baptist Church, with Rev. Ronnie Jones and Mrs. Theris Smith-Mullis officiating. D.J. was born in Eastman, a former employee for Southeastern Landscaping in Eastman, and an employee for Stanley Steamers. He was preceded in death by a Grandmother, Lannell Sheffield, Grandfather, Clarence Sheffield, and 3 Aunts, Kimberly Roland, Brenda T. Graham, and Barbara S. Brummitt. He is survived by his Wife – Katie Giddens Sheffield of Eastman; 2 Daughters – Lila Sheffield and Jade Sheffield both of Eastman; Mother – January Tripp Hernandez (Roy) of Columbus; Father – David Sheffield, Sr. (Amy Harrell) of Eastman; Mother-in-law – Brandy Danielle Giddens of Tennessee; 2 Sisters – Sommer Sheffield of Eastman and Elizabeth Old of Columbus; Brother – William Tripp (B.J.) of Columbus; Grandmother – Shirley Tripp (Jesse East) of Eastman; Aunts and Uncles – Elisha Gregor (Larry) of Montana, Janice Watson (Big Mama), David George both of Columbus, Candace Foxworth of Alabama, Steve Tripp (Dawn), John Roland, Angel Bordeau, William Thomas Tripp, Jr. (Pat), Mary Ann McLeod (Bruce), Ronnie Sheffield (Sandra), Patricia Ann Floyd (Ricky) all of Eastman, and Jimmy Graham of Cadwell; Numerous Cousins and Friends.
