MR. WILLIAM ARTHUR ALLEN, age 63, of Eastman, GA, died Sunday, September 18, 2022, at the Dodge County Hospital. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, September 21, at Antioch #1 Baptist Church, with Rev. Roy Locke and Rev. Fred Parker officiating. William was a lifelong resident of Dodge County, a member of Antioch #1 and attended New Daniel Baptist Church, and a retired farmer. He farmed for many years for Walking Water Farms for Charles Robert Coody and for several years for Lynn Hardy Farms. In his younger years, he served as a volunteer firefighter for Gresston Fire Department. He loved gardening, his dogs, attending church socials, and cutting grass. But most of all, he loved his family, especially making sure his wife was happy and also spending time his grandson. He was the son of the late Lunita Fullbright Allen and Arthur Hilton Allen and was preceded in death by an Infant Son, his Daughter, Danielle Sue Allen, Granddaughter, Adalyn Jade Rose, Sister, Laverne Cooper, Brother, Leslie Allen, and Nephew, Michael “Mike” Allen. He is survived by his loving Wife of 31 years; Daughter; Grandson; Mother-in-law; 2 Sisters-in-law; Nieces and Nephews; Several Extended Family Members and Numerous Friends. The family maybe contacted at the Allen residence and will receive friends in Antioch #1 Baptist Church from 1:30PM-2:00PM Wednesday, September 21.
