Eastman, GA- MRS. WILLODENE SIKES COLLINS, age 83, of Eastman, GA, died Sunday, July 8, 2018 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, July 11, at Greenlawn Baptist Church, with Rev. Dwaine Dunn, Rev. Terry Ross, and Rev. Jack Lee officiating, with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Collins was born in Tatnall County, a member and dedicated church worker of Greenlawn Baptist Church, a former employee at Stuckey's Candy Company, C & J Manufacturing, and Eastman Industries, and was a retired assembly line worker for over 15 years at Lithonia Lighting Company. She was affectionately known as Dene to her family and friends. She enjoyed reading her bible, biblical crossword puzzles, watching westerns on TV, listening to gospel music, and working in her yard. WilloDene was daughter of the late Alice Collins Sikes and George Sikes, widow of Henry Thomas Collins, and was preceded in death by 2 Daughters, LaWanda Collins and Denise Collins Westbrook, Sister, Irma Jean Collins, and 2 Brothers, Charles Sikes and Everett Sikes. Survivors: Daughter; 2 Sons; 8 Grandchildren; 16 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Sisters; Brother; Numerous Nieces and Nephews. The family may be contacted at the residence and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 6:00PM-8:00PM Tuesday, July 10.
